Matt Stairs Is Not A Fan Of Technological Advancement
Unless you employ a particular brand of eye wear that magically shades your vision from over-played stories in the media, you are no doubt aware that, from now on, video replay will be used in Major League games to decide if disputed home runs are called fair or foul.
Whoop-de-fucking-doo, right?
Well, Matt Stairs might choose other words to describe his thoughts. In fact, according to John Lott of the National Post, Stairs "used a picturesque term for horse excrement to summarize his reaction."
The issue brings up an important question that has plagued many of the other professional sports organizations prior to baseball implementing this rule change: Can semen be considered excrement?

I don't believe Rios et. al. study tapes or work on batting pitchers who give them trouble. The shit Jay batters look the same against pitchers who give them trouble time after time...they never seem to figure ANYTHING out....only if a pitcher is weak or ailing or totally off do they seem to be able to do anything.
