However, if instead of Gardiner or Melky it is Jackson and a couple of decent prospects, one being a pitcher, I make that trade I think............that is if I (being gm and all) am allowed to use the money saved to pursue free agents. If the money is just going be locked away in Roger's vaults then, no.
