Hey Vernon, Aaron Hill Has Some Tips For You

I didn't believe it at first either, but Sports Illustrated still exists . . . well, a version of it exists. And even though it reads more like a copy of Entertainment Weekly than the magazine that once employed George Plimpton, it features Aaron Hill this week in a little piece called The Pop Culture Grid.

Hill, along with the disturbingly attractive Gina Carano, Reds catcher Ryan Hanigan and someone whom I assume plays soccer in the MLS and not in Russia answer questions that are only a little bit better than the ones I've been bothering Blue Jays with lately.

While the other athletes answered the fill in the blank question of "I'd like to give BLANK some advice" with all the boring sanctimonious nonsense of nephews, brothers and "men and women who do not understand how precious their lives are," Hill used his space to poke fun at Vernon Wells' season long struggles at the plate.

His answer: "Vernon Wells some advice about hitting."
