The Rogers family or Tenenbaum would own the Bills as private citizens, I think. Does that preclude them from owning the Jays? I don't know. I guess maybe not, as long as Rogers Co. still owns the Jays-- but I don't know if there's still an obstacle in there somewhere that would force them to have to sell the Jays. The whole 'who knows where the Jays would be if Ted Rogers hadn't stepped in' may be partly true, but to be honest I think it's mostly self serving bullshit.

He wasn't some kind old man who really wanted to keep a baseball team in this city. He wasn't even a fan. He saw a business opportunity.

Rogers has a good setup. The Jays are content for Sportsnet and the Fan, and a tenant for the Dome. I'm not sure they'd be eager to lose that, unless they are selling the dome, sportsnet and The Fan as well.

I am sure rogers would work around this if they owned both the jays and bills, remember football is only 17 games, what else will fill the 348 days a year the rogers centre will be sitting dorment.
