I heard a Jays fan on wilner wanting to jump on the Red Sux bandwagon...NEVER!The problem is that the Jays can't hit and in the AL you can pitch lights out BUT you need to hit ,too.I thought that this was the Jays year,but the same shit is happening again. And what,Brad Wilkerson is the answer?This game is symptomatic of this team's major problem:RISP.If a guy is at third and there is less than two outs,the manager can use strategy to win the game at all costs...like a suicide squeeze.At home,the Jays don't win in extra innings,so this game was another tease.One suicide squeeze from someone and the game is over BUT NO!IT's getting late real early this year.Yes,Red Sux will still be a bunch of Massholes but the Jays are not ready for primetime time yet...especially when they are 1-5 against the Rays this year.Quite simply put,they can't go on like this...you'd expect the Rays to hit 8 runs in a game but the Jays?No way.That is why the Jays are finishing 4th this year with the best pitching in the AL,not the AL east but the AL.JP nice job on the pitching,so far a mediocre to shitty job on the hitting.No Barroid,right?4th place finish for sure.Brad wilkerson will not be an improvement,but Barroid would have been.

This was another one of those WTF losses.They were at home tied in extra innings and that is a game that is tailor made for a home team win.Then what happens?Also,can this team score more than 3 runs at a time?Last night that 6 spot was a mirage.We are not seeing that one for a while.I'm not jumping off the bandwagon,but this team is not a playoff team as of yet.You can't suck this badly against the Rays.Then again 4th place is looking like a reality with this lack of hitting crap.

I've got a question:
I pulled the ultimate douchebag move tonight. I was 1) starving (too broke to buy RC food) 2) I was in a bad mood all night because the goddamn ushers kept kicking me out of my stolen seats (I finally got down there, but I'm fucking cursed) and 3) I had a fairly good idea in my head about the number of times the Jays had come back in the ninth (ZERO??). And so I took off at the end of the eighth. Got home and turned on the radio, "Waiting for Wilner," and just then Hill tied it up.
So, my question is:
Did the punch in the balls that just occurred:
1) effectively justify my actions, as I was able to, by the work of fate, avoid the experience of trying to maintain the high from the ninth for over an hour, only to be let down?
or 2) did my actions - which could only be justified, I think, if they involved sex - and even then, only with a chick who you've slept with less than two times - effectively jinx the comeback, similar to the dude at the beginning of the fifth who was telling his friend how "no-hitters only happen once or twice a year! FUCK! maybe not at all!"?
